Fighting the war against suicide. QRFup provides FREE 24/7 confidential support and resources for Service Members, Veterans, First Responders, and their Families during mental health crisis.

Our Story

QRFup.org was created to fill a need to provide an emergency response team with unparalleled dedication and commitment to Veterans in crisis and their mental health needs. Our App is a tool, with a two-stage concept, designed to respond to Veterans in immediate crisis situations. Although crisis degrees may fluctuate, our teams are designed to respond to specific requests. After an SOS is activated, the first stage is initiated and our team can respond within minutes, with or without the need of first responders in support.

The second stage is initiated after action of our response team where we help the veteran and/or family to re-establish their trust, safety, health and livelihood. Veterans and their families encounter a variety of financial needs, career dilemmas and life experiences. We are a quick reaction force built and created by our own community to serve our community. We do not contact law enforcement or other government agencies to interfere or create further legal problems for our Veterans that are already dealing with an emotional, financial or familial crisis. We respond and won’t abandon you. Our App will be available to download soon.

A retired US Marine Corp and US Army Veteran who founded QRFup and thrives in the face of adversity. Rams vision for this organization has inspired thousands to step up and act not just raise awareness to the social issues in our community.

A retired US Army Veteran whose organization and strategic leadership will bring the vision of QRFup across the nation. Marks deference for the mission of this organization is bar none, and his determination will disrupt the current order.

As a suicide survivor, Heather is passionate to prevent anyone else from the pain she experiences and to support thse that struggle with mental health. She loves people and America. Her skills in business strategy, process improvement, communication, critical thinking and others will support QRFup's mission to be the light in the darkness. She has a BA in Accounting and an MBA and has survived many hard days to be the light for others.

Casey Hanson

As a servant leader in the Sons of the America Legion, Casey works hand in hand with veterans on a daily bases. He is a defining link between veterans and civilians; coordinating a vertically integrated recruiting effort to launch nationally.

Eric Moorman

Eric Moorman is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran with a distinguished 30-year career in the Des Moines, Iowa Police Department. His profound passion for equine therapy has led him to coordinate programs like Horses Helping Heroes (H3), an Equine-Assisted Activity Learning and Therapy (EAAL/T) initiative in Polk County, Iowa. In his role, Eric oversees all aspects of the Boots in the Barn Equine Therapy Program under QRFup, leveraging his extensive experience to support veterans and individuals through therapeutic interactions with horses.

The QRFup logo embodies hope and healing through its thoughtfully chosen colors. The teal and purple ribbons of suicide prevention and mental health awareness weave through the design, representing the organization's core mission of supporting those in crisis.
